Overview:

Evaluating the Free version of Jotterpad App from Amazon. I was searching for an alternative App.I checked out an alternative text editor. For the past few years, I have used the Essential Project Management Information System or Essential PIMs for short. So far Essential PIMs has exceeded and surpassed my expectation. Especially in writing downdrafts, plans, activities and present projects.

I decided to check out the Amazon Apps to find if I could find a simple text editor. That is as long as the app provides and meets the following criteria. Which are:

1. The Text Editor App should be simple and easy to use.

2. The App could be shared.to different Social Media Platforms such
As FaceBook, FaceBook lite, Twitter, Instagram, Third Party Proprietary
Apps such as Essential PIMs for Android.

3. Preferably, the app can be saved to a different text. Mode, rft format. The
The app should be an open system or has an open platform. For the sake of
Portability and ease of use.

Evaluation of Jotterpad App from Amazon:

I decided to check out Jotterpad App from Amazon. I found four(4) Stars issued by users. I was not sure if the app had an option for sharing.

The JotterPad App took less than 18 Seconds to install on my Kindle Fire Devise (KFD). After activating the app, I started to check on the ease and simplicity specifically when I start Navigating around the platform

Just installed Jotterpad a free app from Amazon. Let me see how this app will fair out in comparison to the Notes editor of Essential Project Information Manager System. But unlike Essential PIMs, I only see a spell checker which is the common inherent feature of the Kindle Fire Devise (KFD).

On the upper right side of the tablet. I see a three (3) colored blue aqua horizontal-vertical lines. You can use your right thumb and gently press the icon. What comes out are the number of words you have written an article. There are two curved arrows that point to the left and the other to the right side.

I see what looks like a pair of glasses. When you tap on the icon using your right thumb it goes to the edit mode. Besides the pair of glasses, I found a vertical three blue aqua vertical dots. When you tap on the three dots, a pulldown menu comes out. It gives you an option to research or find a phrase or paragraph.

If you purchase a full Version of the JotterPad Version. After clicking on the three buttons on the right side of your Android Tablet. You will have the following features you will enjoy and use. These are:

1. Typewriter
2. Split Screen
3. Dark Theme
4. E extended Keyboard

All features have a toggle switch and will be made available when you purchase the full version of the Amazon Apps Store. By default, the file format is in Text File.

Finally, you have the Statistics. This will show:

Word Count
Paragraph Count
Character Count And the Reading Time.

The No Keyboard Option is grayed out in Free JotterPad App. For further information, you can check out the Jotterpad under the Amazon App Store.

Conclusion:

The JotterPad App is a simple application you can use as a text editor. It is a good application where you can write down ideas or notes. I like the JotterPad because of its simplicity and easy to use. But unlike the Essential Project Information Manager System Android App. The JotterPad App does not have the bells and whistle’s I love when I use the Essential Project Information Manager System Android App.

The only reason why I decided to try out the Jotterpad Free App is to use it as a backup in case I encounter any issues with my other text editor. Hope you enjoy reading this write up. Feel free to write any comments or suggestions on my Contact Me Page.

Who else but me!
