Remember the first time receiving your report card? For kid’s with good grades, they are usually praised, congratulated and given rewards for a job well done.
Whereas kid’s who do not do well. While approaching Mommy or Daddy. With tiny droplets of sweat and fast beating on the kid’sare either chided or advised to exert additional effort.
Perhaps some parents would scold their child or with a little tender lovingchild might improve.
This no different when we grow up as adults. Going to respective professions regardless whether you work in Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Auditing or business. There will always be assessments, appraisals or review in terms of the expected performance dictated by the company or corporation we work with.
We experience working with companies, corporations orwill always be assessments, perpetual appraisals or review in terms of the expected performance dictated by the company or corporation we work with.
I recall my supervisor years ago in sales constantly remind Salesmen ” Know where you Stand“. Somehow it is no different regardless what work or profession you do. It is always important to check on your record. Statistics do not lie and should be a base where to make the necessary check and balance on what is needed to be improve

Social Media Digital World
It is no different in Social Media or the Digital world.
I was checking on some blogs I wrote the past few years. It show’s how many people shared or followed the site. I seldom talk to myself wondering aloud how other writers or bloggers gauge how many readers or followers they have.
At least you could find out what topic garnered followers and likes. Therefore you have an idea what is interesting. Perhaps work on the subject to make it catchy and engage with your reader.
Statistics are good. Checking out records are awesome. Provided you improve and avoid making similar mistakes. Not to forget, receive constructive criticism to make you a better and not a bitter cynical individual.
In the late Sixties, I was fond of watching television specifically cartoons. Especially coming back from school. The first thing I remember is removing my shoes, dropping my school bag(Army surplus Nap-sack which was popular in those years), rushing to our 5ive-year-old Zenith Black and white television and switching it on.
I recall watching the likes of Gigantor, Sesame Street, Wait till you’re Father get’s home, looney tunes and Hanna-Barbara Productions.
Those who were born in the sixties would relate and never forget it. Despite the everyday rush, political turmoil, rallies against the Vietnam war, demonstrations local and abroad.
The exciting news of Apollo 11 with the NASA Astronaut Commander Neil Armstong transmitting from his spacecraft module first landing on the moon.
“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
And yes, not to mention finally in 1969, Filipino finally had their first Miss Universe in the name of Ms. Gloria Aspirella Diaz.
Watching cartoons was the only way to kill time and get entertained. In those days we didn’t have computers, the internet was unheard off, gadgets were confined to noisy musical and large electronic machines situated in establishments we now called Malls.
There are many a time when we step to the realms of reality we encounter people. Despite big events or something significant unfolding in our life. We encounter negative cartoon characters like Glum ( character from Hanna-Barbara Gulliver’s Travels)
With heavy dark cloud hovering his head exclaiming “We are doomed”.
There are two sides of a coin. It is how you perceive and approach Life.
Avoid Negativity, it kill’s your soul. Life is good so Smile and Live.
Keep a journal, a small notebook, or a diary. Check on it and refer to it. I promise you will feel great. Keep a record so you will know where you stand.
